Jan Sowa

 

Jan Sowa is the founding force behind Greenhouse. An experienced provider of business turnaround, organisational restructure and consultancy support services, he has a proven track record in achieving business goals and improving returns in tough markets through galvanising team effort and strong leadership.

With a career encompassing specialisation at turning around poorly performing divisions and functions within Whitbread plc and Century Inns, Jan has held several directorships in the leisure and social sectors, and has advised the boards of numerous organisations and charities on business and organisational improvements.

 

Sally Holme

 

Sally Holme has 23 years’ experience of successful retailing. She covered all operational areas at Bettys and Taylors, gaining an unparalleled understanding of the catering and retail markets, before becoming MD in 1998 of the newly consolidated group. Through her eleven years as MD, group sales grew to £90m, employees increased to 1200, and consistently strong trading results were achieved.

Sally has achieved a string of industry awards including Sunday Times Best Companies to work for, and two Queen’s Awards for sustainability. She has a special interest in start-up businesses and ethical trading, and has worked with Oxfam and the Rainforest foundation, as well as other ethical trading initiatives.

 
 

Roger Middleton

 

Roger Middleton is a senior business programme and project management delivery specialist with more than twenty years’ experience successfully delivering for blue chip clients in a wide range of industries, including significant financial services exposure.

A motivational leader, he specialises in effective stakeholder management and has a practical focus on enhancing capability through the provision of coaching, mentoring and team development.

 

Steve Swayne

 

Steve Swayne is an established company doctor at our collaborative partner Kingsgate, with particular experience in complex and difficult situations. He has developed a successful turnaround track record at CEO/MD level in both listed companies, privately owned enterprises and the public sector. His extensive restructuring experience includes multi-site operations across Europe.

 
 

Pat Griffin

 

Pat is a highly experienced leader with extensive professional expertise in both the commercial and education sectors. She was Marketing Director for Burger King UK & Spain within Diageo, then as Board Director in a leading brand strategy consultancy, and founded a consultancy where she led a team of marketing and research consultants, working with blue chip clients such as Coca Cola, South African Breweries, and Muller Dairy. She then moved sectors, rapidly rising to become Head Teacher of a primary school which she led to an “Outstanding in all areas” rating by Ofsted.

She integrates her skills in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, project management, innovation, culture change, and communication to engage with and coach high performers. She is also a regular keynote speaker on leadership and mental wellbeing.
